‘Big Brother’ viewers have voted for the next power housemate, deciding that Chris should take charge of the house.

Chris takes over from Pauline, who had to make a number of tough decisions during her time as power housemate, however unlike Pauline, he’ll have to keep his power a secret.

Chris didn’t exactly jump for joy when the news was revealed inside the ‘Big Brother’ control room, where he stated that being in charge of the gang made him feel “deeply uncomfortable”.

During her time with the power, Pauline was forced to make a ‘killer nomination’ and the 49-year-old chose Jale, who will face the public vote every week.

She also had to pick a housemate worthy of a fast pass to the final and controversially opted for Helen.

There has been a lot of tension in the run-up to the first eviction and a number of the housemates have expressed doubts over whether they made the right nomination choices.

Danielle and Helen had a huge fight on Tuesday evening, arguing over Danielle’s refusal to get involved in conversations about sex.

Tonight’s show (Friday 13 June) will see either Danielle, Tamara or Jale leave the house.
