Urban artist who has dedicated his life to working with young people from disadvantaged backgrounds

Andrez Harriott is an urban artist who found success in the 1990s as part of the British RnB band Damage, selling over 2 million records and touring the world. Since 2005, Andrez has dedicated his life to working with young people and young adults from disadvantaged backgrounds or those at risk of offending.

Andrez holds a First Class combined degree in Criminology and Sociology and has previously been a youth justice practitioner for 8 years within a London borough, specialising in the effective resettlement of young people leaving custody and working in partnership with the Metropolitan Police to support young people and adults affected by or involved in serious violence and gangs.

Andrez specialises in working with high-risk and very high-risk young people and young adults within both community and custodial settings. He currently delivers a bespoke offending behaviour programme within the secure estate targeting young people and young adults involved serious violence and gang offending. His work has been recognised by multiple bodies, not least the Ministry of Justice for his gangs intervention programme for working with young people.

Andrez founded The Liminality Group (TLGUK LTD) in 2011 in order to work with young people and young adults and currently delivers early intervention and prevention programs in addition to training for orgsanisations working with young people and young adults involved in or at risk of offending.
