A member of the BBC Question Time audience has attempted to defend the election of President Donald Trump.

It did not go well.

BBC Question Time was hosted by David Dimbleby, from Southend. Panelists were Tory MP Dominic Raab, Labour’s Yvette Cooper, Tasmina Ahmed-Sheikh from the SNP, writer Sarah Churchwell and Jan Halper-Hayes, chair of Republicans Overseas.
