A troubled pro-Brexit pop concert is determined for the show to go on after it unveiled a fresh line-up - for the third time - after acts pulled out during two previous attempts.
BpopLive - which says "move over Glastonbury" and is now being dubbed BpopLive 3.0 - will see members of 1980s pop icons Bucks Fizz and Elvis impersonator Gordon Hendricks top the bill.
The event due to take place on June 19 at the 15,000-capacity Genting Arena in Birmingham, has faced a series of calamities worthy of music mockumentary This Is Spinal Tap.
Its overtly political tone and Eurosepticism appears to have spooked the eclectic list of artists lined up before.
A rep for Britain's Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon, billed in BpopLive 2.0, said she didn't realise it was "more of a political rally".
BpopLive is "endorsed" by the Leave.EU, a pro-Brexit campaign group founded by Arron Banks, UKIP’s biggest donor.
It said on Facebook:
"Cheryl, Jay, Mike and Bobby – formerly of Bucks Fizz, the last British team to really win big in Europe – will be part of a fantastic event which promises to be the most memorable night of the referendum calendar. It's time for us to start making our minds up, and who better to hammer that message home?
"Journalists wondering how Bpop could possibly top East 17 and two-fifths of 5ive need wonder no longer, as the Eurovision stars will be joined on stage by none other than Gordon Hendricks as the King himself, Elvis Presley. (Here's hoping he won't be giving us his rendition of "So Close, Yet So Far" on June 24th!)"
It goes on: "They will be joined on stage by more surprise performers and speakers including Nigel Farage, Liam Fox and Kate Hoey."
While BpopLive is back on the road, it's not quite Bucks Fizz playing.
The pop quartet's line up includes Cheryl Baker, Jay Aston and Mike Nolan from the original line-up, joined by Bobby McVay - formerly of 1980s trio Sweet Dreams.
They can't technically call themselves Bucks Fizz, the band that stormed Eurovision with Making Your Mind Up, since that is owned by former member Bobby G’s wife, Heidi Manton.
The couple tour with their version of the group.
The foursome, instead go by “Cheryl, Mike, Jay and Bobby McVay formerly of Bucks Fizz”.
But already there appeared to be confusion soon after HuffPost UK published.
Alesha Dixon, 5ive, Sister Sledge and East 17 withdrew from the second incarnation.
Drum’n’bass act Sigma and 1990s garage act DJ Luck and MC Neat pulled out of the first. Curiously, there are just two members of 5ive these days.
A spokesperson for Dixon, arguably the biggest name mooted, said at the time: "When Alesha was approached to perform at this event it was on the understanding that this was a multi-artist pop concert in a fantastic venue in the heart of the UK and Alesha would be there purely as an entertainer,’ her rep explained.
"It has now come to light that this is more of a political rally with entertainment included and we have decided to withdraw Alesha from the event. We wish to apologise to any fans who may have purchased tickets for this event. I would like to make it clear that Alesha has no political allegiances either way on this issue."
