If you're feeling particularly stressed right now, it might be time to get creative. 

Research published in the journal Art Therapy found that the stress hormone cortisol could be reduced through making things.

A 45-minute session is enough to reduce the stress hormone, researchers said.

So if you like painting, making collages or creating things with clay, then you should definitely stick at it.
