Strictly Come Dancing: Rylan Clark-Neal Joins It Takes Two Presenting Line-Up

He'll make his debut when the show returns this autumn.

Rylan Clark-Neal will be joining Zoe Ball to present Strictly Come Dancing sister show It Takes Two, the BBC has announced.

The programme airs on BBC Two on weeknights during the autumn and gives Strictly fans a chance to catch up on how the couples are preparing for each live show.

Rylan appeared on Zoe’s Radio 2 Breakfast Show to announce the news on Thursday.

“I can’t begin to explain how excited I am to be joining the Strictly family,” he said. “I’ve always been a massive fan of It Takes Two and to be working with the amazing Zoe Ball is a dream.

“I’m extremely honoured to be joining such a television institution and can’t wait to bring a lot of mischief to the Strictly bubble.

“I’m looking forward to getting started and seeing you all soon.”

Zoe added: “I adore Rylan, he’s an absolute wonder, I love his daftness and naughtiness and he’s a brilliant live telly host.

“He’ll fit right into our It Takes Two family. Can’t wait for this new season to start, it’s going be a hoot.”

Strictly will be back this autumn and while Rylan is a new addition to the family, two fan favourites have announced their departures.

Explaining that she wants to focus on her commitments in the dance world, Darcey said: “I am not leaving because of any upset or disagreement at all, I am just stepping away to give more focus to my many other commitments in dance, after seven truly wonderful years that I can’t imagine having gone any better.”
