An Apple Doesn't Fall Far From The Tree

An Apple Doesn't Fall Far From The Tree

I was always an Apple sceptic – I've got my Blackberry for Tweeting and my Flip video camera for spur-of-the-moment movie-making – how many gadgets does a girl need???

Then Kris bought me an Apple iPad and showed me how to buy my favourite magazines online. There's nothing like the smell or tactility of a brand new mag, but I have to admit I'm loving the convenience of having all my favourites stored in sleek tablet, rather than having to lug a pile of magazines around along with all the baby gear.
Kris showed me how to hold my finger on the articles and pictures I wanted to save or email to a friend, and now I'm well and truly Mac-ified! I've even been checking out cool overview apps like 'Flipboard' that pull together all my favourite articles, pics and social networking updates. It's like editing my own magazine.
This holiday season, the Apple Store is offering free laser engraving with online purchases – a personal touch to your loved-one's technology. Who needs a partridge in a pear tree when you can have an Apple under your Christmas tree?
