Brooke Kinsella is set to return to TV screens in 71 Degrees North. The former EastEnders actress will join nine other stars in the ITV1 adventure series.
The other celebrities testing their physical and mental limits are rumoured to be TV gardener Charlie Dimmock, hairdresser Nicky Clarke, Spandau Ballet's Martin Kemp and TV presenter Angellica Bell.
Ex-GMTV star Richard Arnold and Sean Maguire will also embark on the challenge.
71 Degrees North is Kinsella's return to TV after her brother Ben, 16, was stabbed to death three years ago. Since then she has been campaigning against knife crime.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Brooke's a fighter and giving up isn't in her nature. She could win."
Contestants will battle it out in a number of demanding challenges as they trek 2,000 miles in Norway to the Arctic Circle.
