David Beckham's having rather a busy summer - and it's not just because of the arrival of Harper Seven. In addition to changing nappies and singing lullabies, the footballer is launching his new scent, David Beckham Homme, in September.
From the mouth of Mr Beckham himself: "I think it's always important for a man to look after himself. It's something I've always done and will continue to do." Take heed, chaps!
Watching the above behind-the-scenes video (several times) we were vaguely expecting the fragrance to smell like running and jumping but, according to WWD, the fragrance has been designed by Firmenich's Pierre Negrin and sports the following notes:
Top notes:
- citrus, ginger, pine, fiery pepper
Heart:
- cashmere wood, leather, rosemary
Base notes:
- mahogany wood, patchouli, skin musk
So now you know. The style icon will launch his masculine scent globally as an eau de toilette in four sizes, along with a variety of body products.
