Oliver remained the most popular baby name for boys in England and Wales for the second year running, whilst Olivia hung on to the top spot for girls, according to stats released today.
For boys, Jack was stuck in second place, failing once again to find its form after a 14 year winning streak ended last year.
Sophie has risen three places since 2009 to snatch second place off of Emily.
The data comes from the Office of National Statistics and is derived from final annual births registration data which includes all live births occurring in England and Wales in 2010. The full data set can be obtained here.
