PRESS ASSOCIATION -- Simon Cowell's shows are set to dominate ITV1's Saturday night schedule for an unbroken two-and-three-quarter-hour stint next month.
His latest production, Red Or Black, is to launch on September 3, according to schedules released on Wednesday, on top of the ongoing run of this year's X Factor.
The new programme is a large-scale game of chance in which contestants are whittled down by choosing one of two options.
The launch night will see a 75-minute edition of the show followed by one-hour X Factor heat and then a further half-hour of Red Or Black.
The evening also sees the start of Jonathan Ross's new chat show on ITV1.
Red Or Black - presented by Ant and Dec - will be competing for family audiences with Doctor Who on BBC1. And the results show will be up against another game show, Channel 4's Million Pound Drop Live.
