PRESS ASSOCIATION -- Dermot O'Leary has claimed no one dares to talk back to new X Factor judge Gary Barlow.
The Take That star has already earned a reputation as the new Mr Nasty for saying no to so many contestants, but O'Leary said his experience means no one argues with him.
O'Leary said: "He's 20 years in the business. He knows exactly what he's talking about. And that wonderful moment when he is fair and gives someone fair constructive criticism, they've got nothing to say back."
Tulisa Contostavlos has already been verbally attacked on the ITV talent show and O'Leary said he can't understand why contestants don't expect both negative and positive feedback.
He said: "That's the important thing. People go there to get judged. It's incredible how many people are affronted with someone else's opinion."
Tulisa, Barlow and Kelly Rowland have taken over from Simon Cowell, Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole on the judging panel, and O'Leary thinks they are doing very well.
He said: "There's some big shoes to fill. They're all really nervous but they handled it really well.
"You make sure that they enjoy the process if they can enjoy the process and be themselves - that's the main thing
"That's what I love about all four of them, including Louis who's always been himself but the new judges have really hit the ground running because they've been honest and that's what it's all about."
