A six-year-old girl has appeared on a catwalk at New York fashion week gyrating and parading in a skimpy Western outfit. At one point the child even removes her jacket in a 'stripper style' move.
The little girl is Eden Wood, who was a stalwart of the pageant scene until she 'retired' earlier this year. She also appeared in the controversial Toddlers and Tiaras programme about children's beauty pageants - the same show that aired footage of a THREE-YEAR-OLD dressed up as a prostitute.
Eden, who is from Taylor, Arkansas, was modelling for children's footwear brand Cicciabella. The Daily Mail reports that her appearance on the catwalk 'flouts guidelines set by fashion industry body CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) which demands that designers do not use models under the age of 16.'
Does this footage shock you?
Should a child EVER be used for this kind of modelling work?
