MAKEUP: Charlotte Tilbury, Key Makeup Artist for Mac

THE SCOOP: Inspiration for this look came from Farhi's colourful collection. Tilbury wanted makeup to be simple so that it didn't fight against the clothing.
GET THE LOOK MAKEUP: Tilbury created "Glossy, glowing skin." To create this Mac's Pearl Cream Colour Base was used to highlight the eyes and cheekbones, adding structure to the face. "Lush" eyebrows were created by brushing them upwards using Mac's Eye Pencil in Mink. Nude eyeliner finished the eyes, and were left mascara free.
Lips were the feature of this look, with a variety of Mac lip shades being used for a strong and dramatic colour. Orange, Fuchshia and white were mixed together before being applied. Mac Lip Pencils in Coral and Hot Pink lined the lips to create the perfect Cupid's bow. Finally Mac's Prep + Prime Finishing Powder ensured a matte look.
GET THE LOOK HAIR: McKnight wanted the look to be contemporary, as well as "sharp and simple." A smooth texture was vital - McKnight used Patene Serum to keep hair looking and feeling sleek and shiny. Hair was scraped back off the face and fixed into a harsh ponytail, which gently fell down the back.
