Breakfast is often cited as the most important meal of the day, especially for kids heading off to school - but shocking new figures suggest that many teens skip it entirely.
A survey undertaken to kick of National School Meals Week found that around 15 of female teens turning their back on a pre-school tum-filler, compared to 10.7 of kids go to school on an empty stomach.
The Local Authority Caterers Association commented on the findings saying: "With no breakfast, they can't be at their best for learning and so can be less attentive and a disruption in class."
