For the third year in a row, fashion-favourite Liberty has come out on top in a list of the 50 Best Shops in London, compiled by Time Out magazine.

The top 50 stores were selected by a panel of designers and retail industry experts - including the likes of Mary Portas, Lulu Kennedy and Katie Grand - who decided that the time-honoured department store was their all-time favourite place to part with their pennies.
The decision comes following last year's store 'renaissance' (or refurb, to put it in more colloquial terms) which Time Out claims "breathed life into the old store."

Liberty was also praised for its support of new fashion talent and continual supply of exclusive fashion collaborations.
"Shopping at Liberty is an experience to savour," reads the winner text in this month's mag. "Artful and arresting displays, exciting new collections, eye-popping exclusives and luxe labels all add to a wonderfully eccentric atmosphere."
