The latest addition to the International Space Station team has succesfully taken off from Kazakhstan this morning.
Nasa astronaut Dan Burbank and Russian cosmonauts Anton Shkaplerov and Anatoly Ivanishin launched to the International Space Station from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.
The crew are expected to dock their Soyuz TMA-22 spacecraft with the station at 11:33 p.m. Tuesday, November 15. You can watch the docking live on Nasa TV from 1:30am Wednesday.
You can also watch the formal change of command ceremony on Nasa TV on November 21 at 8 a.m.
In that ceremony, Expedition 29 Commander Mike Fossum of Nasa will hand over command of the station to the new crew within four days.
The Expedition 29 crew, Fossum, flight engineers Satoshi Furukawa of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency and Russian cosmonaut Sergei Volkov, will return to Earth in their Soyuz TMA-02M spacecraft at 8:24 p.m. November 21.
