Lady Gaga Comforts Axed 'X Factor' Star Kitty Brucknell

Down But Not Out - Kitty Brucknell Comforted By Her Idol Lady Gaga

Kitty Brucknell was booted off the X Factor last night, after judge Gary Barlow claimed she didn't have the 'likeability' factor. But it wasn't all misery for Louis Walsh's eccentric act, as her night ended with hugs and wine from her popstar idol - Lady Gaga.

X Factor guest performer Gaga reportedly ran onstage after Kitty's exit, shouting "Where's Kitty?" before taking the ousted contestant into her dressing room to comfort her.

Gaga was seemingly impressed by her very own impersonator - Kitty has a similar look, with peroxide blonde locks and a dislike for trousers - as she reportedly shared a glass of wine with the dismayed X Factor hopeful.

Earlier, host Dermot O'Leary had asked Kitty if she had any final words. Instead of muttering the usual guff about being grateful for the opportunity and thanking her fans, Kitty took the opportunity to belt out some lines from Gaga's Born This Way.

Kitty had been upset when Misha B was given the hit Gaga song to sing this weekend, while she was left with Queen's Don't Stop Me Now. She had spent her performing life impersonating Gaga and Britney Spears before she appeared on the X Factor. Now, it seems, at least one of her dreams has come true.
