George Clooney And 'ER' Co-Star Noah Wyle In Battle For Role Of Steve Jobs

Which Of These Two 'ER' Stars Should Play Steve Jobs?

George Clooney and Noah Wyle are rumoured to be vying to play Steve Jobs in an upcoming biopic.

The former ER co-stars are thought to be in competition to portray the late Apple co-founder in Sony's big-screen version of Walter Isaacson's best-selling biography, reported The Sun.

Wyle - who is best known for his performance as Dr Carter in the hospital drama - has already portrayed Jobs in the TV docudrama Pirates Of Silicon Valley in 1999.

The movie is tipped to be written by The Social Network's Aaron Sorkin.

Clooney, whose latest film The Ides Of March is currently in cinemas, will next be seen in The Descendants, followed by 3D sci-fi adventure Gravity opposite Sandra Bullock.

Wyle, who starred in alien TV series Falling Skies, is set to star as George Pickett in TV mini-series To Appomattox.
