Strictly Come Dancing: Harry Judd Thinks 'X Factor' Is Missing Simon Cowell And Cheryl Cole

Strictly's Harry Judd: 'X Factor Needs Simon And Cheryl Back'

Harry Judd has claimed The X Factor isn't as good without Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole on the judging panel.

The McFly star is competing in rival BBC show Strictly Come Dancing and told the Daily Mirror that while he used to watch the ITV talent show, he feels it has lost its appeal.

Judd said: "I used to watch X Factor but I don't think it's very good this year. To be honest, Simon Cowell to me is X Factor and without him it just seems like something's missing."

He added: "I miss Cheryl Cole, too. Don't get me wrong I really like Gary Barlow, Tulisa and Kelly Rowland, and to be fair I haven't had time to watch it. I just think it's missing a couple of great talents.

"Last year you had One Direction, Matt Cardle, Cher Lloyd, Rebecca Ferguson, you had really exciting artists and all of them really different.

"Just watching One Direction you could tell it was the start of something massive. Whereas this year... I don't know, it just doesn't seem the same. Obviously I'm Team Strictly now."

And the 25-year-old former teen heartthrob is enjoying the attention from older ladies which appearing on Strictly has won him.

Judd said: "I've had lots of fans on Twitter saying, 'My nan fancies you.' Whenever I see that I tweet back, 'Say hi to your nan for me.'

"Or fans say, 'Oh my God, I'm so embarrassed my nan and mum are talking about how much they fancy Harry.' I'm loving it."
