A founder of a business network for internet industry professionals has recorded a song to encourage business leaders to offer career talks to schools and colleges across the country.
Leon Bailey-Green, who established Directors Of.Com, launched the campaign Give Back, which he hopes will get the internet industry involved with local schools, colleges and the unemployed young
Green said he hoped the song would "motivate" those working in the industry to register as volunteers.
"This is set to be a lucrative week for the online retail industry, hopefully its leaders can give something back."
The Give Back project backs campaigns including Inspiring the Future and There's More To Retail. The former is a programme set up by the education and employers task force to connect speakers with schools and colleges.
Nick Chambers, director at Inspiring The Future said education institutions needed volunteers from "a range of sectors".
"Professionals in the internet industry can offer pupils great insight on the world of work and career opportunities. We are grateful to Leon for supporting this initiative and encouraging people to get involved."
