Kelly Rowland: 'I'd Move To The UK For 'X Factor' Return'

Putting Down Roots In The UK

Listen up y'all. Mama wants to come back to The X Factor so much next year, she's prepared to 'put down' (see what we did there) roots in the UK.

Kelly Rowland has confirmed that she wants to return to the talent show, and is so desperate to secure her place on next year's panel she is thinking about buying her own house over here.

"There is no place like the UK X Factor. If Simon wants me back next year then that would be good," she said. "I'm definitely considering buying a house over here as I love it here."

However, there is one person who wouldn't be very happy if she left her home shores for good old Blighty - her dear ol' mum.

"My mother would have a problem with me moving because it's so far away from home so she may have to move with me. She doesn't like that long plane ride so I've got to make sure I make her happy," she said.

It's all a bit of a backtrack from what she's previously said though. Speaking to Bang Showbiz last month she said: "I'm really not sure whether I'll be doing it again...I don't know if I could do it again. We'll have to see what happens."

But Kelly better not get booking Kirstie and Phil's services just yet as Simon is apparently getting ready to wield the axe, after Sunday's show pulled in a whopping four million viewers less than last year.

The mogul was said to be "disappointed and concerned" over the ratings slip, with a source telling the Daily Mirror: "There is definitely a need for change, on the judging panel and in production."

But mamma denied she'd had too many vinos, taking to Twitter to say she was just drunk on the atmosphere.

"Nice try, but I wasn't under the influence in ANY way. I was just overwhelmed by the crowd cheers," she said.

OK Kel, we believe you.
