The comedic actor has had a stab at cultural relativism with Borat, lampooned the fashion industry with Bruno, now he’s taking on the sensitive world of international politics.
With The Dictator, Baron Cohen spoofs the brutal regime of someone who appears a physical hybrid of recently toppled tyrants Saddam Hussein and Muammar Gaddafi.
In this first trailer from the film, we see that ‘General Aladeen’ may have been displaced from his native North Africa to the United States, like a malevolent Crocodile Dundee, but that his hunger for power remains unsated. Will there be hilarious results?
