Harry Judd has been crowned the Strictly Come Dancing winner 2011, beating off stiff competition from runner-up Chelsee Healey and her dance partner Pasha.
The McFly drummer's band mates ran on to the dancefloor to congratulate him as he heard the news.
The jubilant Strictly champion said: "All I can say is thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has supported Aliona and me... I have had the most incredible experience... I've been on the best show on TV and I'm just honoured.
"I was so nervous when I first started and somehow Aliona's got me through it."
Earlier in the final Jason Donovan and his partner Kristina were knocked out of the competition. The Neighbours heartthrob, pop idol and West End star said: "This has been the most incredible experience, other than my children and my wife, in my life."
He told his dance partner: "You have one of the most incredible talents and visions... I will never ever forget this journey."
The remaining two finalists, Chelsee and Harry then performed two more dances each before the winner was crowned.
Harry danced a romantic and floaty American Smooth to Can't Help Falling In Love by Elvis Presley. Alesha said: "I think the nation has fallen in love with you."
Chelsee tackled an emotional Rumba to Because Of You by Kelly Clarkson. Bruno said: "Baby you nailed that Rumba, you acted it like a movie star."
Harry then performed his favourite dance, the Argentine Tango, to Asi Se Baila El Tango and Chelsee danced the Quickstep to Sing Sing Sing. Both received rave reviews from the judges.
Harry achieved a total score of 156 from the judges tonight, while Chelsee secured 153.
Closing the show all 14 original contestants returned to the dancefloor for a group performance to Whitney Houston's I Wanna Dance With Somebody, giving us a final glimpse of Russell Grant in pink satin. A perfect end to a perfect Strictly series.
