She might be 90 years old but that hasn't stopped eccentric style icon Iris Apfel from collaborating with Mac to create a new makeup range for the brand.
The textiles and interior design maverick has been the influence behind "a colour collection inspired by a rare bird who has always been ahead of her time".
The 20 piece range references Apfel's Rare Bird exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in 2005, with plenty of strong colours and avian inspired names such as Pink Pigeon, Scarlet Ibis and Party Parrot.
There's also Toco Toucan, a bright fuchsia nail polish and Diamond Dove, a deep grey, brown eye shadow. The quirky colours will be just what we need to lift our spirits during the post-Christmas blues next month.
Look out for Iris Apfel's Mac makeup from 5 January at Mac Cosmetics.
