FedEx 'Delivery' That Became YouTube Hit Is Spoofed By Conan O'Brien (Video)

Conan O'Brien Spoofs FedEx Delivery

Internet footage of a FedEx delivery man casually tossing a computer monitor over a wall has spawned a rash of spoof clips – and even Conan O’Brien is in on the act.

The original footage – now viewed more than six million times - became a PR nightmare for the company, who have since identified the culprit.

And things are about to get even messier after eagle-eyed Conan tracked down these hilarious clips.

He told his audience: “People got upset about this and then I just started surfing online and apparently this is not an isolated incident. This is a disturbing trend at FedEx. Check out this other security footage I just found.”

The clips that follow feature men in obviously fake FedEx outfits drop kicking boxes onto the roofs of houses, hurling an large parcel into a swimming pool and even igniting a package on a porch – before racing away with his fingers in his ears.

To make matters worse, the creator of the original clip has since explained he was actually at home when his item was being delivered.

‘Goobie 55’ said: "Here is a video of my monitor being ‘delivered’ The sad part is that I was home at the time with the front door wide open. All he would have had to do was ring the bell on the gate. Now I have to return my monitor since it is broken."

Of the original rogue delivery man, FedEx company spokeswoman Shea Leordeanu told MailOnline: "A member of senior management went to the customer's home to apologise and a replacement product has been delivered at no extra cost.

"The employee is facing disciplinary processes but at this time is not interacting with customers.

Ms Leordeanu added: "We understand why it went viral but the silver lining is that here is a learning opportunity for FedEx.

"We want to remind employees that they are expected to be professional... even when they don't think someone is looking."
