Something must be in the air this past couple of weeks as celeb couples have been getting engaged left, right and centre.
The latest lovebirds to announce that they are to tie the knot are Bridesmaids actor and funnyman Chris O'dowd and girlfriend writer Dawn Porter.
Chris took to Twitter to make the announcement, saying: "I'm so bored of all this happiness and sex. I'm getting married."
Dawn also released a similar message on her account: "I guess he liked it, coz he put a ring on it"
The couple have been inundated with messages from well wishers including a tweet from fellow funny-man and Gavin and Stacey star James Corden who appeared unable to contain his excitement.
He said: "@BigBoyler @hotpatooties WOOOO HOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Chris replied: "Aw, thanks for all the congrats guys. Feelin the twitter love today. Very happy & lucky boy."
When pressed for further details on the engagement Dawn revealed the location, tweeting: "At Havelet Bay on boxing day. Very happy x"
Congrats guys! At this rate all the celebrities in the world are going to be engaged by the end of the month!
