'Britain's Got Talent' Auditions Continue As Amanda Holden Recovers

The Show Must Go On

The judges of Britain's Got Talent will leave Amanda Holden's seat empty for auditions in Cardiff as she recovers from her recent childbirth.

Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams are unlikely to be joined by a fourth stand-in judge until they film auditions in London on 6 February.

The judges have sent flowers to Amanda, who is still recovering in hospital after giving birth to her daughter Hollie Rose prematurely.

Doctors thought the 40-year-old actress might be able to return home four or five days after her emergency caesarean on Monday but medics now want to keep her under observation for at least two weeks as she lost a lot of blood during the birth.

A friend of the actress told the Mirror: "We're hoping she'll get her energy back at the weekend. She's been through hell but won't mind because she had a beautiful baby girl."

Singer Myleene Klass and Eastenders star Samantha Womack have been named as possible guest judges for February.
