Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden's health is "improving greatly" following her childbirth nightmare.
The 40-year-old actress went through a life-threatening ordeal when she was rushed into intensive care for emergency blood transfusions after giving birth to new baby daughter Hollie but the star returned home last week after several days in hospital.
Speaking to The Sun, a friend of the star said: "Amanda has improved so much. She is surrounded by family and it seems to be just the tonic."
Upon her return home last week Amanda's spokesperson, Alison Griffin, said: "We are delighted to say that Amanda is now home.
"She and Chris would like to thank everyone who was involved in her care for their amazing skill and dedication, and also to thank everyone who sent such kind thoughts and wishes during this time.
"She is, of course, thrilled to be home with her family - Hollie is absolutely beautiful and Amanda and Chris are completely besotted with their two girls."
The talent show judge is expected to return to variety contest Britain's Got Talent when auditions are held in Edinburgh a week on Saturday.
But a source close to the show told The Sun: "There is no rush."
