With not one but three major red carpet events at the start of this week, we were spoilt for choice on the celebrity beauty front.

Christina Ricci made two appearances in London this week. Her first stop was the Baftas on Sunday night, but our favourite look was from the Elle Style Awards on Monday. Not only did the star look stunning in a Jonathan Saunders gown, her blunt fringe, sleek locks and glowing complexion made us fall in love with her impeccable red carpet style even more. (It was the hint of metallic green eyeshadow that made this look for us).
As for the Baftas, rising star Shailene Woodley shunned groomed red carpet glamour for a fun, quirky style. Charles Worthington worked his magic on her hair but her top knot wouldn't have been complete without the addition of the hot pink lipstick. We're expecting big things from Shailene at the Oscars...

Musical Houses: Both are gorgeous girls with great makeup, focusing on glowy skin with a pop of colour, so this is a tough one! Christina has given her look a dash of colour with metallic green eyeshadow, while Shailene has used pink lips to add interest to her look. Personally, I prefer Christina's look, as I feel like the eyeshadow really enhances her entire look in an understated manner.
