Police searching for a missing 21-year-old man have recovered a body from woods.
Thomas Haddock, from Cheltenham, went missing a week ago on his way to meet friends for a night out in Lichfield.
The body was found by a member of the public in woodland known locally as "Riles Spinney" off Common Lane, near Fradley, in Staffordshire, yesterday at around 2.30pm.
Police said although formal identification is yet to take place, they believed the body to be that of Mr Haddock.
His family have been informed and are being offered support, a Staffordshire Police spokesman said.
They added that the death was not being treated as suspicious and said a report will be prepared for the coroner.
Mr Haddock, who turned 21 last Wednesday, was last seen near his mother's home in Kings Bromley on February 18.
He left the house in Riley Hill saying he was going to Lichfield to meet friends and was last seen by a friend near the house walking along the A515 Lichfield Road towards Lichfield around 8pm.
His family reported him as missing the following afternoon when he did not return home.
