And frankly, after seeing her latest hairstyle, we completely understand why she's covering up in her favourite beanie.
Rihanna pulled the "hat will hide my hair" trick last night after revealing her hard-to-miss roots in New York, earlier this week. Although she's in desperate need of a trip to the hair salon, we do actually approve of RiRi's latest beauty look.
Her style was laid-back (with not a flesh-flashing garment in sight), but she kept things glam with flawless skin, cherry red lipgloss and our favourite part of her look, some very on trend half-moon nails (a big hit on the Autumn/Winter catwalks).
