'Britain's Got Talent' Judge Alesha Dixon Says She'll Audition Next Year

Alesha To Try Her BGT Luck

Alesha Dixon has joked that she may return for Britain's Got Talent next year - as a contestant.

The Britain's Got Talent judge said she could be tempted to take to the stage with her three dogs, two of which she helped give a home to through the RSPCA.

"I'm currently training my own dogs for next year," she quipped.

The 33-year-old, who teased that a dog could make it into the final, added: "There's lots of things I've never seen before, which is great. I think the public will be very happy."

Alesha - who joined the panel alongside Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and David Walliams after being 'poached' from Strictly Come Dancing - has been enjoying her new role.

"I don't get nervous on stage or talking on the judging panel. I'm quite confident with my position and I just enjoy it, because it's a blessing," she continued.

"Any job where you can laugh all day in is fine by me! We laugh a lot - it's really good fun. The British spirit is undeniably contagious and the wacky acts that come through the door, which are all crazy, makes it colourful and fun and you can't ever get bored."

As an Avon ambassador, she launched the Pass It On campaign, which encourages women to buy and pass on an Avon empowerment necklace and pass on the word about domestic violence.

"Domestic violence is one of the most horrific situations anyone can go through. I don't feel enough people are talking about it and are aware of it," she said.
