EastEnders' Shane Richie hopes his alter-ego Alfie Moon doesn't stray while wife Kat is away.
Alfie has been working with Roxy Mitchell (Rita Simons) at the Queen Vic while Kat (Jessie Wallace) looks after her dad Charlie following his stroke.
But Shane said Alfie is "a happily married man", reports Digital Spy.
He told All About Soap: "He can see that Roxy is flirting with him, but he just thinks she's being friendly.
"They've got a great friendship and enjoy some good banter together, but Alfie banters with half of Albert Square."
"Alfie's got very strong morals and I'd like to keep it that way. He has no idea that he's sending out these signs to Roxy, and there's going to be a lot of confusion between them over the next few weeks," he added.
