These are just some of the sights on show at the Virada Cultural festival in Brazil, a 24 hour cultural marathon exhibiting music art, theatre and fancy dress.

The festival, which ran from 5-6 May also featured a man suspended mid-air playing the piano, and performances from poetry troops.
