Geri Halliwell could be set to become a permanent judge on the X Factor, if her guest appearance on the panel goes down well.
The former Spice Girl talked the hind legs off the audience when she was one of the temporary judges who sat in Dannii Minogue's seat back in 2010, while the Aussie star was on maternity leave.
Even the producers mocked her non-stop jibber-jabbering - playing Chas and Dave's Rabbit tune to a montage of her dishing out advice.
She even got a round of boos from the crowds at the live auditions.
So it comes as a shock that the former Ginger Spice is being allowed back this year - and even more so following rumours Simon Cowell could sign her up for good.
According to The Mirror, Geri will land a lucrative £1.1m contract if she wows at the opening day of auditions in Liverpool on Wednesday alongside Gary Barlow, Tulisa Contostavlos and Louis Walsh.
A source says: "Simon was impressed with the way Geri handled herself during auditions a couple of years ago, and thinks she has the gravitas and star presence to really shake-up the panel.
"She has a great chemistry with Louis and bosses expect these two to join forces against Gary which will make for great viewing.
"Geri's had her confidence knocked over the years but she is a lovely girl and is incredibly enthusiastic about the show, and the part she will play in it.
"Simon is still reeling from the whole Dannii fall-out, and the fact she demanded so much money doesn't sit well with him.
"By comparison, Geri has been an absolute dream to deal with. Assuming she passes her final dress rehearsal at the auditions in Liverpool, the job is hers."
