Eden Hazard Confirms Decision To Join Champions League Winners Chelsea

Blue Hazard - Eden Set For Chelsea

Eden Hazard has confirmed he will sign for Champions League winners Chelsea in the summer.

The Belgian international took to Twitter again to declare he would be joining the "champion's league winner" (sic.) on Monday night, having earlier teased his followers he had decided who he would be moving to.

Chelsea have edged out both Manchester United and Manchester City for the 21-year-old playmaker, who scored 20 goals for Ligue 1 Lille in 2011/12.

The Stamford Bridge club are yet to confirm the transfer, but they are believed to have agreed a £32m deal with the north French club.

Blues fans will get a chance to glimpse the European Cup winners' latest addition when Hazard plays for Belgium at Wembley on Saturday.

His agent, John Bico, is expected to earn £6m from the deal, having publicly auctioned his client - who has willingly played along - to raise his stock.

Hazard announced after his final Lille match - where he scored a hat-trick and assisted another goal - Chelsea, City and United were interested in him.

Yet Chelsea's Champions League win over Bayern Munich the day before prompted Bico to invite them into the bidding, stating the demands of him and Hazard, which were quickly met.

The arrival of Hazard in west London is likely to be followed by Brazilian striker Hulk from FC Porto, who Roman Abramovich has had scouted for over a year.

Chelsea have already signed German winger Marko Marin from Werder Bremen for £8m, affording them a formidable attack as they look to improve on their sixth-place Premier League finish.

Fernando Torres, reassured by Didier Drogba's departure, has also confirmed he will stay at the club, as he looks set to lead the Blues' attacking line.
