Claudio Ranieri, Chelsea manager between 2000 and 2003, is back in football at AS Monaco.
The Italian, sacked earlier this year after a disastrous six months in charge at Internazionale between September and March, was dismissed after overseeing the debut season of the Blues' Roman Abramovich era in 2002/03.
Labelled "Tinkerman" for his squad rotation, his death sentence was passed after meddling with personnel during the team's Champions League semi-final first leg at, of all places, Monaco. The Blues lost the game 3-1 and the tie 5-3 on aggregate.
