One of the Premier League's most notable tracksuit managers, Welshman Pulis smiled and waved to the crowd as he lightly jogged through Stoke's streets.

The 54-year-old was taking time out from a 960-mile charity bike ride from John O'Groats to Land's End, and said he was "proud and privileged" to participate in the relay.
