Weathermen aren't known for their sense of humour, but Aaron Justus may well be the exception, what with his parody forecast predicting the apocalypse going viral just a couple of days after its initial air date on Sunday.
Showing Godzilla striking America's east coast and volcanoes erupting here there and everywhere, the meteorologist for the CBS 6 news channel in Richmond, Virginia, has shown the world a side to weather reporting that we just don't see enough.
What makes it perhaps in bad taste is the fact that a massive storm did in fact hit America over the weekend, with a ‘derecho’ - a massive wind storm - blasting across Virginia, Maryland, Washington D.C. and eventually even states as far inland as Ohio.
Of course, previous examples of weathermen making us laugh have normally revolved around said TV meterologists cocking up on camera - and in honour of that fact, here's a gallery of their finest fails...
