Ricky Gervais Working On Internet Series 'Learn English' With Karl Pilkington

Ricky Gervais is working on an internet series called Learn English with Ricky Gervais, the comedian has announced on his blog.

It co-stars Ricky's frequent collaborator and foil Karl Pilkington.

Ricky did not describe anything about the content of the series on his blog, but revealed he had finished the pilot episode and that he would post it online for free.

After that, he said he may charge viewers or seek sponsorship.

Ricky also wrote that he hopes to subtitle the show in "as many languages as possible", including a Klingon version.

"I'm going to put out the first one free as a taster then work out the best way to distribute. Might charge a small fee or get it sponsored. Unlike the audio podcasts this actually costs quite a bit to make, but even if we charge it will still only be a couple of quid.

"I'm thinking of making a clean version of the pilot available for download so people can put their own subtitles on it and repost it."
