A new app promises to deliver surround-sound music for a fraction of the cost of pro music systems, by sending the same music track to multiple iPhones over WiFi.
Seedio (not to be confused with Seed.io) allows iPhone users to broadcast music to more than one device, and have them play simultaneously.
It unlike Airplay, Apple's own streaming technology, Seedio can send music to up to 150 iPhones and have them play the same track.
The idea is you can set the phones up around a room instead of a surround sound system, or else plug them into speakers and have your house explode with music.
You run the devices off a WiFi network - but you can use a hotspot created on your phone, so you don't necessarily need a network in place to do it.
The app is currently free on the App store - but the developers say they'll be charging soon, so download it while you can.
