At last! The search is over! The British Cheese Board has finally announced the winner of its summer-long competition to find a national anthem for Britain's best-loved cheese, Cheddar.
The winning entry - which secured more than 40% of the public's votes - comes courtesy of the Upbeat Choir from East London, who opted to honour Cheddar by rewriting the lyrics to a tune you may already recognise.
We've watched the video countless times, but still can't stop ourselves from welling up when it gets to the bit where they sing those rousing words, 'Incomparable curd'. Oh, the emotion!
The worthy winners will be supplied with a year's supply of British Cheddar and two weekend passes to Alex James's food and music festival.
