Police are appealing for a teenage mother to come forward after she disappeared from hospital with her baby within hours of giving birth.
Sammy Edwards, 19, went missing from the Royal Gwent Hospital's maternity unit in Newport, South Wales, on Thursday afternoon.
The teenage mother, from the Cwmbran area, had given birth in the early hours of the same day.

Worried health officials at Aneurin Bevan Health Board alerted police after the mother and her baby son left hospital unseen.
"Sammy Edwards from Cwmbran gave birth to a baby boy at approximately 5am yesterday morning. She was seen leaving the Royal
Gwent Hospital at 4.30pm yesterday afternoon," a Gwent Police spokesman said.
"She had discharged herself without her or the baby having their final health checks.
"While there is nothing to suggest she or the baby are at higher risk than any other new mum and young baby, police are concerned for Sammy and would like her to contact them to let them know she is safe and well."
The spokesman added: "Officers have been carrying out local inquiries as it is believed Sammy is still in the Cwmbran area and that she and the baby are staying with someone she knows.
"Sammy is described as 5ft 4in, slim build and black hair. When she was last seen she was wearing a black tracksuit and a pink hoody.
"Anyone with information is asked to call 101."
