Tom Daley Is Mobbed By Screaming Fans As He Arrives In Australia (PICS)

Tom's Big Down Under

It's not just in the UK where Tom Daley has made a (ahem) splash.

Thanks to his teeny tiny trunks Olympic performance, the bronze medallist has gone global.

As he touched down in Australia yesterday, the 18-year-old diver got the sort of reception usually reserved for the likes of Justin Bieber and One Direction as hundreds of teenage girls elbowed each other out of the way to catch a glimpse of their hero.

And Tom was all smiles at Adelaide airport despite travelling for more than 30 hours and happily stopped to sign autographs and pose for photos with fans.

The British star is in Oz with his teammates to compete in the Junior Diving Championship. It's his first competition since winning bronze at this summer's London Games.

And it didn't take long for Tom to get over his jet lag and hit the beach where he squeezed in some diving practice... on dry land.

Speaking ahead of the Championships, he said: "The World Juniors is always a high standard, so I will be going into the event aiming to perform my six dives to the best of my ability."

Go Tom!
