Microsoft Debuts 'Surface' Tablet Adverts Ahead Of Launch

Microsoft 'Surface' Tablets Trailed By Advertising Biltz

UPDATE: Microsoft has revealed the pricing for the Surface tablets. The device will start at $499 for the 32 GB model without a touch cover keyboard. The price will rise to $599 with a keyboard, all the way to $699 for a 64GB with keyboard. UK pricing is yet to be announced.

Microsoft has also confirmed the Surface will be available in the UK for pre-order on October 26, where it will start at £399.

Microsoft has released the first adverts for its range of 'Surface' tablet computers.

The Windows 8 devices are pitched as the world's firstly truly productive tablets, letting users also get work done as easily as others play movies and run games.

The Surface comes with a touch-enabled keyboard-case which looks truly innovative - even if nobody we know has actually managed to use one yet.

In fact several details about the new machines are still cloaked in mystery, despite the Surface being announced earlier this summer.

Those missing details even include the price of the new kit, which could prove critical in a marketplace dominated by the ubiquitous iPad and cheaper Android tablets.

Still - we're interested to see the Surface once they arrive. Check back later to see if Microsoft has finally made the price and other details public, but for now just enjoy the advertising.
