Eric Cantona's feet may already be regarded as golden by Manchester United supporters, but it was made official today when the Frenchman received the Golden Foot Laureate in Monte Carlo.
Cantona, who scored 82 goals in five seasons with the Red Devils, winning four Premier League titles and two FA Cups, was joined by AC Milan legend Franco Baresi as he received his award.

The iconic former France international cost just £1.25m from Leeds United in November 1992 and was hailed as the 'catalyst' to end United's 26-year wait for a league championship.
Now a flamboyant actor, he was capped 45 times by France during an undistinguished international career.
