Two men have been arrested in connection with the death of six children in a house fire in Derby.
The men, aged 45 and 49, are both from Derby and have been taken into police custody.
"These arrests are part of the continuing investigation to seek justice for the children who died as a result of the fire in May," Assistant Chief Constable Steve Cotterill from Derbyshire Police said.
The arrests three come days before Michael and Mairead Philpott, who are charged with the children’s murder, are due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court.
Jade Philpott, 10, and brothers John, nine, Jack, eight, Jessie, six and Jayden, five, all died in the fire. Duwayne, 13, died in Birmingham Children's Hospital two days later.

Their father Mick Philpott, 55, and their mother Mairead, 31, have been charged with murdering all six children at their home in Victory Road in Allenton, Derby on May 11.
