If you've ever dreamed of turning into a giant robotic spider - or just hanging out with one - you're in luck.
Dutch designer Anouk Wipprecht and Austrian software developer Daniel Schatzmayr have created a robotic spider dress which is both amazing to look at and incredibly scary.
Worse still, the little arms on the dress respond to nearby movement and 'protect' its wearer if anyone comes too close.
It is said to be "equipped with sensors indicators and controllers" and was "created with the aim to give more power and 'psychological thrills' to the sugar sweet character that performative wearables often have".
The dress was recently demonstrated in Prague, and while it might not be hitting the high street soon it's certainly an option if you want to get an early start on that human-arachnid hybrid you've been working on.
