Helen Flanagan Couldn't Cope With Sexy Coronation Street Story Lines

'Corrie Put Me Through Hell'

Corrie star Helen Flanagan has blamed the soap for sending her to the brink of madness, claiming she has gone through hell on the show.

The actress found fame as little Rosie Webster on 'Coronation Street' at the tender age of 10 but insists she was left seriously depressed by the sexy story lines of her tearaway character.

Helen says having to wear raunchy outfits and flaunt her 32E boobs pushed her to the limit and sent her into a downward spiral.

"My character seemed to change as soon as I grew breasts. I went overnight from a 32AA to a 32E and at times I really struggled with it... It was too much pressure. I was severely depressed. I was crying my eyes out all the time."

The busty beauty decided that enough was enough and she couldn't deal with the soap anymore so she quit after 11 years in February last year.

She was a controversial contestant on the last 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me out Of Here!' and attracted plenty of negative attention for her unusual antics and bizarre behaviour, but it didn't end there.

The star was slammed last month for taking to Twitter and posting an insensitive snap of her holding a gun to her head, just days after the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.

She added: "It was very silly. I didn't mean to upset anyone. I made a mistake."
